This was a waterfall at a rest stop in Washington state.
Isn't it beautiful...
Our trip back started very green... with beautiful rocks...
A tunnel under a mountain...
We were driving along the Columbia River.
Contemporary condos along the road...
Cool bridge
And lots of rocks... a couple hours down the road and it was already an arid landscape. 
Rocks like devils tower...
It was a beautiful drive along the Columbia...
And then the wind mills started showing up in the landscape.
A granary...
And more windmills...
They went on for miles...
As the sun was setting we reach the second mountain range... and stopped to take some photos of the plane... the clouds were fantastic...
A stream under the highway...
A wild flower would not stay still to photograph... the wind was blowing pretty good.

The views were beautiful this is earlier in the day... you can tell because it is green.
